Kota Kinabalu - Part 2

Continuation from the previous post..

3rd day in KK, we woke up early cuz we needed to travel to Kundasang. That's where Mount Kinabalu is. The journey took us about 2 hours drive. On the way to Kundasang, we passed by small towns and villages until we stopped by at Nabalu Fruit Market for a break. Nothing much sold at the market besides souvenirs, local food products and of course fruits. The kids n I wanted to 'wee-wee' the most there :p. It was quite cold up there. We took some pictures of the scenery there, it was beautiful.

Then we continued our journey and had lunch at a local restaurant (cant remember the restaurant's name). Lunch was included in our tour that day. Nice food.

After lunch, we headed off to Kinabalu National Park. We visited the Exhibition Hall and Mountain Garden (one of the biggest attractions at the Park) and also enjoyed the cool and fresh air there. Then we made a move to Poring Hot Spring. Upon arrival, we straight away headed to the famous Canopy Walkway. The canopy walkway is 157.8m long and 41m high and we had to hike for 25 minutes in order for us to reach Pondok Manggas, the station to enter the walkway. Round trip took us about 1 hour, supposedly around 40 minutes only, but i had to stop at few gazebos provided along the hiking trail. At 1st, i regretted joining the hiking cuz i was 2 months plus pregnant at that time n it was super tiring for me cz i had no stamina to do such adventerous activity at all. Hubby kept on teasing me along the way "ade rasa mcm nk terberanak tak?" haha! jahat taw.... But the moment we reached the top and were on the walkway, i totally had no regrets. The bird's eye view of the rainforest was totally amazing! Cantik! Nevertheless, my knees were wobbling while walking down the trail. My kids laughed at me cuz i walked damn slow :p

After that super duper tiring hike (for me, at least :p), we took a refreshing dip in the hot sulphur. There were outdoor and indoor tubs. The outdoor tubs are FOC, whilst the indoor tubs cost..... errr... cant remember.. RM20? RM15? per tub i think (I wasnt the one paying, so i dont know :p). But i remember it was quite cheap. The indoor tubs are built in individual chalet, so we got to enjoy more privacy by renting the so called chalet. n i think it's more hygenic as compared to sharing a big tub with hundreds of people.

Then, we departed from Poring and transferred to our resort for check in. On our way to the resort, we stopped by at a rafflesia garden owned by a local villager. We had to go through a steep tiny road and drove across a river stream to reach that place. It was pretty scary. The rafflesia was blooming at that time. Lucky us :). Then we had our dinner at Ranau and tapaw some food back just in case we get hungry in the hotel.

We stayed in Celyn Resort that night. We initially requested to stay at Mount Kinabalu Heritage Resort & Spa from our tour agent as our 1st choice, but dont know somehow in the end they put us in Celyn. Maybe they earned extra commission from Celyn, i guess. But nevermind, we were quite happy with our room and the view from Celyn was really breathtaking. The view of Mount Kinabalu was just in front of our eyes from our room. We like! Oh, and it was really cold there! Ai suka!

4th day, we departed from Kundasang at about 11-ish in the morning, to make sure that we could make it in time to buy the frozen large prawns, scallops, and some dried seafood. The price for all these items is quite cheap there.

For lunch, we went to Kedai Kopi Wan Wan at Bundusan. Bie suggested that place, n we had lunch together with her 2 pumpkins n hubby. The restaurant serves fish head noodles and other food related to fish. Man.. that place was so crowded wen we reached there. Bie told us, it has always been like this, full house most of the time. We ordered few types of noodles. The fish meat served were so fresh which made the noodles taste so good. My hubby was so crazy about the food there.. makan tak ingat dunia! haha! N thaks to Bie for the lunch treat! xoxo

At Kedai Kopi Wan Wan

Our flight back to KL was at 6.20pm. Luckily our flight was on time and we reached LCCT at 9ish. My BIL picked us up. Thanks to him :)

We really enjoyed out trip to KK. Rasa tak puas cuz we only stayed there for 4 days. Our driver was a great help too, not calculative at all about time and he drove us everywhere we wanted to go. Looking forward to go there again, probably will try to climb up Mt. Kinabalu with my husband and Irfan.. and Sarah insyaallah, if she wants to :).

Kota Kinabalu - Part 1

Went to Kota Kinabalu last December, during school holidays. Took the 3 pumpkins along and left the maid at home. Supposedly, we were planning to tag our maid along, but we bought the air tickets way before she work with us. The ticket price was so cheap then, only RM1k+ (less than RM1,300) for the whole family including meals and baggages. N by the time we wanted to buy her air ticket to join us, the price of the ticket to KK was so bloody expensive! So we thought, "it's okla.. hopefully we can manage travelling with d 3 toddlers without the maid" n we actually did! :)

We went to MATTA Fair March 2011 to search for the best deal on the package tour. My hubby and I decided to take a package tour inclusive of everything ie hotel, driver, n individual tours cuz we thought it would be a lot more easier for us as we are not familiar with KK, plus it would save a lot of our time on finding places to visit. And in the end, we took the whole tour package from Trek Finder.

The package that we took was for 4 days 3 nights inclusive of accommodation in KK and Kundasang, 3 selected tours (Wetland Proboscis Monkey and Fire Flies Cruise, Sapi & Manukan Island Tour and, MPV/van and a personal driver.

On the 1st day, our flight was at around 8am, so we had to reach LCCT latest by 6.30am. Memang mengantuk.. Luckily the kids were not to groggy cuz they slept early the night before. N thanks to iPad2 that helped this lil boy to sit still n sleep soundly on the plane.

Touched down at KK, our driver had waited for us. That was around 10.30am n it was too early to check-in. We decided to stay at Cititel n took the Triple Room (lupa nak amik gambar bilik.. too tired), a very comfortable room to fit all of us. At 1st I thought of staying in Shangri La, or Le Meredian or Hilton, but hubby said why waste money when we don't even get to enjoy the hotel facilities cuz we wud be on the move all day (our itinerary was really pack!) and wud be using the hotel just to sleep. Ok la.. he got a point there. Cititel it was then. Not badla eventho I dont quite like the breakfast spread.

Before checked-in, our driver took us around KK, and went to 1 Borneo Hypermall. Had lunch there. I think the mall is quite dead, not that happening. sayang...

Then balik hotel, lepak2, n off we went for our 1st tour; Wetland Proboscis Monkey and Fire Flies Cruise. The driver picked us up at 2pm and straight away headed off to Beaufort (South of Sabah). It took us 2 hours to reach there and the afternoon heavy rain didn't help to expedite our Journey. We had to go through kampung roads. Sigh, to me it was damn far. Probably i was too tired.

Before we arrived at the river jetty, we stopped by at a villager house to have tea break. Didn't know this was included in the tour. So, layan kan aje.. :)

The kuih muih served were so tasty. The kuih at the right hand side tasted something like cucur udang, n on the left is something like fried paw stuffed with red beans. Sedap! N the Sabahan kids are so adorable. Dah besar nanti sure cantik n handsome :).

Dah kenyang, we headed off to the jetty. We were prewarned by the villagers that there would be a hell lot of mosquitoes there... thank god i brought the mosquito repellent. Dzarif la yg teruk kene serang. Kesian anak mummy..

Proboscis monkey and fire flies river cruise

We saw lots of proboscis monkeys during our river cruise but we couldn't get near them. These monkeys have weird looking nose (pls google for a clearer pic of proboscis monkey). After the river cruise in search fr the proboscis monkey, we had our buffet dinner at the jetty's restaurant. After dinner, we continued our tour to see the fireflies. It was super dark. I memang takut.. takut kalau tetiba ada binatang terkam ke ape from semak samun by the river.. cuz we were on the boat, couldnt see a single tiny thing. But wen we saw the fireflies, all the fear gone! Sangat cantik!! Subhanallah..

We ended our 1st day at 11pm when we arrived at our hotel. Sangat penat.. so everybody slept soundly...

2nd day, we went for Sapi & Manukan Island tour. So, pagi2 masing2 dah bangun n exited to go for island hopping.

The islands are so beautiful. The kids n the daddy went snorkling. Mummy tunggu je la by the beach.. takut hitam! haha! Mat saleh semua pakai bikini, i wore t-shirt, long sleeved inner n long tights. Serik kena sunburnt! hihi. I like Sapi Island more than Manukan Island, probably there's glorious food in Sapi Island as compared to Manukan Island. We had our bbq lunch at Sapi Island. Sedap sgt2! The seafood were fresh and juicy!

We arrived at our hotel at around 5pm, took a nap, n we were out again for dinner. Met my ex-unimate, Bie and hubby. She brought us to a famous seafood restaurant there. Okla, the food was not bad.. cume a lil bit pricey, mcm kat KL pulak. Maybe sebab ade cultural dance show and the restaurant is already well established.

Aroma Jeram

It was my sis' n cousin's birthday on 9th & 8th January respectively, so i decided to give them a birthday dinner treat. We decided to go to Jeram. To be precise, we went to Aroma Jeram.

Jeram is popular with fresh and cheap seafood and has few restaurants serving good and cheap delicious seafood. But from what i've heard, Aroma Jeram is one of the most popular ones. I went there before with my husband's ex-collegemates but i didnt get to enjoy the food much cuz i had a terrible stomach ache then and Dzarif was super cranky. Plus, it was fasting month and there were too many people, n hence that place was super hot and humid. But my husband enjoyed it very much. So I guess we should try and eat there again with the hope that I can enjoy the food as much as my husband did previously.

We took NKVE and made an exit at Setia Alam. And then, we followed the signboard to Meru, and then.. dont ask me what happened then. Hahahah! I wasn't driving so I couldn't recognise the roads. Maybe you guys can try using GPS to reach there. It took us about 40 minutes from USJ to reach that place (note: no traffic jam on that day).

I was told that we need to make early reservation to dine there, and so I did. I called on Friday to book for Saturday, but it was fullhouse for dinner. So i booked on Sunday instead, and phew.. luckily there were few empty slots.

Sorry, not many pictures on the food. We were too hungry, so the moment the food arrived, we just couldnt wait to wallop evrything! hehe.. luckily we managed to snap this..

- 6 plates of rice

and it only cost us RM168!!! my god... dirt cheap!!

Definitely we'll go there again. Highly recommended!

But please be mindful that place is quite warm (to puteri lilins like me :p).. they should have installed more fans.

Who watched AJL 26 last night?? Best kan? My husband sibuk tengok tennis. Pastu bile i sorak2 n gelak, sibuk tanye 'kenape? kenape?' hahaha! Btw, all my picks were right last night except for Sedetik Lebih by Jac Victor. Awan Nano by Hafiz definitely deserved to win! Congrats!! :). And Alyah.. i was stunt to hear her powerful voice with her gimmick as a doll.. n her dress was so pretty!! n omg! she hugged Remy Ishak!! *jeles mak!*

The opening by Jamal Abdillah was totally awesome. Who doesn't like him? Come on, he's the Malaysian king of pop!Despite his silly "mistakes", i cant deny, he has beautiful n powerful voice. I've always loved all his songs especially Di Sudut Kamar Hatiku, Azura, Gadis Melayu, Kekasih Awal dan Akhir, Senandung Semalam (he sang this last night) and many more. Awie's performance was a so-so to me.. Sheila Majid's too.. but i have always loved to see her in all her performances. She's too cutela.. :)

Actually, before the AJL 26 started, i had never bother to know who the winners are. Like seriously. Yang i tahu, Beribu Sesalan will definitely win something. Yelah, it's a trio between 3 powerful singers. In fact, ramai yang teka macam tu. Penakut by Yuna pun ada ramai yg predicted boleh menang and also Sedetik Lebih. Karma by Faizal Tahir tu mungkin ada chance la.. cuz Faizal Tahir mmg power.. he's one of my fav singers. Awan Nano n Kisah Hati langsung i tak pernah terpikir boleh menang... eventhough in a way, i like Hafiz too. So, my prediction yesterday was totally based on the real live performance made by all the singers last night.

This song doesn't excite me at all. Tak tahu nape, i can never appreciate this kind of song especially kalau nk masuk bertanding. And Projek Pistol? Semalam baru 1st time i dengar nama kumpulan ni.. haha! ketinggalan zaman sungguh! Sorry guys.. but u guys did well!

Kekanda Adinda - Atilia & Monoloque
I love this song! Sangat catchy! And Atilia sangat comel!! Giyam tengok! They sang well, but tulah, to me, lagu ni biasa2 je to win as Juara.

Sedetik Lebih - Jaclyn Victor
She sang well. Suara mmg mantap! Lagu pun sedap, one of my favs. But dono why... tak berapa menusuk hati dengar dia nyanyi lagu ni. I prefer Anuar Zain to sing this song.. boleh meremang bulu roma dengar. Where the hell was he? Nape dia tanak nyanyi? Frust frust.. this song could have win something..

Gadis Semasa - Yuna
To be honest, to my ears, lagu ni tak sedap. And the fact that Yuna sang this song while playing the guitar, cam kelam kabut nampak. I dont like.

Cinta Muka Buku - Najwa Latif
I kesian tengok budak kecik ni... who is her fashion advisor? her style n clothes didnt fit the song at all. A long gown for such song? and playing the guitar? Rasa nak nangis tengok! She should have worn pants / jeans with proper top n fancy scarf. Pakai mcm ala2 Yuna pun ok. Lagu tu kan mcm comel2 gitu.. so kenela pakai somthing yg comel2 n nampak kanak2.. After all, she's only 16.. so berpakaian tu biarla kene dengan umur dan lagu. And her expression mcm takut2 gitu eventho she smiled all d way. But Cinta Muka Buku is indeed a nice song walaupun lagu tu mendatar jek..

Sungai Lui - Aizat
Tak pernah tahu tajuk lagu ni is Sungai Lui but i've heard this song before. Suara sedap, but overall, tak kick sangat la to me..

Kisah Hati - Alyah
Tak pernah suka Alyah n lagu ni. I knew about this song pun because it was a theme song for 1 of the dramas kalau tak silap. But, Alyah's performance last night managed to change my overall perception towards her. Didnt know she could sing so well! Suara power gila! Meremang bulu roma! And i love her dress n her make-up (eventho nampak gak pimples here n there). And Remy Ishak!! omg, heart melts. After seeing her performance, i totally think she deserved to win! N she did! :)

Kalau Berpacaran - Ana Rafali, Sohaimi Mior Hassan, Ultimate
I dont like this song, period. And also the singers. sorry.. hehe. Performance derang pun biasa2 je.. tak berjaya memikat hati like what Alyah did.

Karma - Faizal Tahir
I love him walaupun dia perasan jadi Superman. Lantak la tu kan.. yg penting, he's a good singer. Sangat suka dia! So i expected the good performance from him. Cume, i dont quite like the song. I lagi suka lagu2 dia in the previous AJLs. N he won 3rd place :)

Penakut - Yuna
Her performance for this song was not bad at all. I liked her make-up n turban (walaupun i tak suka sebenarnye tgk girls pakai turban). She sang this song well. But to me, tak berapa berkesan di hati.. cuz nuthing unusual bout her performance last night. So, i dah dapat rasakan dia tak boleh menang cuz ramai yg performed better.

Awan Nano - Hafiz
Ni penyanyi budget paling rendah! With only track bottom, t-shirt n tak pakai kasut nor slippers! And then, dia just ulang balik a scene in his video clip n terus nyanyi sorang2. But, he really captured my attention! His voice was soothing to hear, his expression while singing the song was priceless.. betol2 menghayati. I fell in love terus! That was it! I knew he could win! N Herman Tino made special appearance acted as his dad. Best best.. I like! I love Hafiz! N my prediction was right! This song won 1st place n he won the best vocal! Fuh.. kaya mamat nih!

Beribu Sesalan - Shilla Hamzah, Jaclyn Victor, Ning Baizura
This is totally a beautiful song.. and sang by powerful singers, no doubt. Tapi tak tahulakan... disebabkan dah jatuh cinta dengan performance Hafiz, terus I rasa performance utk lagu ni biasa2 aje. N tak tahu la mata i ke yg kero, i think Shilla Hamzah looked plump. Eh, ade kaitan ka dengan performance? hehehe.. But well done beautiful ladies! u girls did a good job!

anak mummy dah bujang!

Alhamdulillah.. anak mummy dah selamat berkhatan on 12 December 2011, 1 week after his 8th birthday. Anak mummy dah bujang! Lepas ni boleh la ikut daddy ke surau or ke masjid :).

We held a small kenduri doa selamat at kampung before the circumcision day, buat sekali dengan kenduri arwah ahli keluarga yg dah meninggal. Alhamdulillah, the kenduri went on fine.

Uwan alang has made early reservation at Klinik Dr Azman for irfan's circumcision. We opt for Clamp method instead of the traditional method. Doktor kata lagi senang nak jaga, and tak perlu nak jahit n should be less painful for the kid. So kami ikutjela.. Cume, cara clamp ni kene dtg balik to clinic a week after that nk bukak clamp tu.. n tu yg sakit sket.

Mummy mmg tak sanggup nak tengok.. daddy pun sebab dia kata dia terasa ngilu sbb dia penah rasa.. haha! ape punye alasan :p. Nasib baik nenek ada.. peluk irfan sepanjang masa. Mummy tgk sipi2 jek sambil intai sket2 ;p.

tengah bersunat.. mummy tengok pun sakit! but he didnt cry!

Dah habis sunat n lepas mummy peluk cium, barula dia nangis. terharu agaknye... biasala.. my boy mmg sentimental!

Tapi, bile ubat bius dah habis by the time we reached home, punyela dia menangis tersedu-sedan. My mom mmg panic! almaklumla.. cucu kesanyangan.. memang irfan dilayan bagai putera raja sepanjang tempoh recovery tu.. kencing bertadah, makan bersuap.. bukan main lagi anak bujangku ini.. hehehe.. n d best part, daddy siap belikan PS3 for him sempena bersunat! over tak?

Alhamdulillah, sorang anak lelaki dah lepas, ade lagi sorang. Tak tahula cemane drama nye nanti :p

Klebang Coconut Shake

Been wanting to go there ever since my junior in Malacca post a pic of d coconut shake in FB. But, never had the chance to go there cuz too lazy to drive all d way there just to quench my thirst. Tried once before at Jonker Street Malacca from a chinese stall n the taste was good, but it was not d Klebang's coconut shake. So i thought it's ok not to try d Klebang's cuz i bet the taste is about d same.

But, lately, i had the urge crave to try it out. Been 'googling' frm 1 website to another.. n thats it! i just had to try it! Good thing about being pregnant is, say anything that u want, d husband will surely get it for u! (hehehehe.. luckily i never craved for anything out of reach!). So, we went there during the long CNY weekend.

The place is not that hard to find. We started off our journey from Rembau (my hometown) using 'jalan dalam' and after d Simpang Ampat round about, took d junction to Malacca, drove straight up for 20 over kilometres i guess, and turned right and then turned left, n reached d destination! hehehe.. sounds easy huh? use your GPS is you dont want to get lost :p

On d way to Klebang, we were so jakun to see a train crossing the road. It has been ages since i last saw 1!

We were lucky to get our seats immediately we reached there. Read from few reviews that the queue is normally long.. but not on the day we came. The queue for take away coconut shakes was long tho.. but not for dine in.

The nasi lemak was damn good! Same goes to the curry puffs! I ate 2 packs of nasi lemak n 2 glasses of coconut shake with icecream without guilt. I have the license to be fat, remember? hehehehe.. Irfan d hantu curry puff ate lots of it! About 10? Gile kan? Memang puas hati! We were so 'pelahap' that we forgot to snap pics of the coconut shake :p. Refer here for the photos of the shake n food. My rating for that place: 4/5 :)

I told my husband that we must go again everytime balik kampung until i give birth :p. N the husband buat muka seposen... kihkih.

Since it was a long weekend n we were already in Malacca, we decided to bring d kids to visit Malacca Zoo. Gosh, it was so hot n humid on that day! And there were millions of people visiting the zoo! Rasa nk pengsan. But since we were already there, n managed to find a parking spot, kami tetap redah.

Felt like fainting touring the zoo. It is as big as KL zoo. We missed few rounds of tram tour cuz there were too many ppl. So, terpaksa la menapak.. So tiring! Dahla akak dah gemok!

There was a playground too but I said NO to the kids when they wanted to play there. I couldn't stand d heat already by the time we reached the playground. All i wanted to do was to sit in my airconditioned car! Panas.......

It was a very tiring weekend I would say, yet enjoyable one. The kids pengsan terus the moment we reached KL on Monday night. And i had a good massage on that night itself by my massage lady, Aunty Nirai.. heaven..!

Have u had any unplanned pregnancy before? I had, twice. Conceiving Sarah was one of it, but i was happy to hear the good news despite having some 'turbulent flow' at that point of time, if u know what i mean. She was my miracle baby i would say. She survived the turbulence! She's totally a tough lil girl! :)

I love her unconditionally although she came at the wrong timing. I was promoted after she was born. I got to know that I passed my IRB exam (I applied a job in IRB before) and got the chance to go for the IRB assessment course, tho i failed, cuz the assessment course was scheduled less than 2 weeks after my delivery, so i couldn't join most of the assessment test, particularly test that involved excessive physical movements/exercise. And i couldn't spend the nights at the assessment centre cuz Sarah, who was just few days old, needed me more at nights. But i had no regrets about it, maybe i am just not destined to work with any Gov or Semi-Gov bodies/agencies. I also had my 1st house after giving birth to her, and lotsa good things happened in between, despite the odd ones. So, having her as my 'unplanned baby' is not that bad after all. I love u sweetie!

My 2nd unplanned pregnancy is....... this one! yup, m currently pregnant! My bad for not doing any family planning. Well, actually i did... by counting my menstrual cycle. I had never done any hormonal or barrier methods or even any implantable devices before for birth control. I am bless with average menstrual cycle of 28 days, so i guess by counting number of days would be sufficient. Well, i have been using this natural method all the while n it worked. But i was wrong this time.. dang! Or maybe i didn't count correctly.

You guys should have seen my facial expression when the doctor announced me as pregnant, even the doctor laughed! "How can that be doctor? How can i get pregnant?" those were the questions that popped out from my mouth immediately. She laughed n said "you had sex with your husband and that's how u get pregnant". ok, that was really a blunt funny answer. I told her that i always counted correctly n i don't think i did it when i was fertile which i always assume it from the 14th day to 19th day. N normally 'precaution measures' would take place from the 12th day cuz i know I am too fertile. So the doctor asked me "on which day u had it then?". I said "on the 10th or 11th day, cant remember.. but m sure it was on one of these 2 days". And later on.... I had a lonnngggggg fertilisation and ovulation lecture frm the doctor! hihi. n guess what? after 3 kids, i just knew that healthy sperm can survive in 'there' for as long as 7 days after ejaculation! So, if i did it on the 10th day, come to 14th day, which is the 5th day after ejaculation, the sperm could still survive. haha! funny! i think it sounded cute! LOL :p. So no wonder i still managed to conceive! Btw, here's a good read about fertility n sperm life span.

Well, well, things happened for a reason i guess. It's not that i don't want anymore babies, i would love to have another one, hope to have 2 pairs, cuz i had a pair already and a boy, but not now. Cuz hubby n I had few plans in mind, one if it is to go diving together. n of course, we also think Dzarif is too small to have a baby bro or baby sis. But, i don't know why, the moment i heard the good news (eventho in shocked), i was happy inside. but, no doubt i was scared to reveal it to my husband at 1st, cuz i know he wasn't ready. But thank god, he was happy too! But, he did say "so.. taklehla kita pegi diving eh?" after he said "Alhamdulillah.. rezeki dari Allah.." hahaha! he still remembers his plan! :p

So now, m at my 17th week plus or 4 months pregnant. Passed the 1st trimester with flying colours! (with kgs of meat n fat building inside me :p). So far, so good.. alhamdulillah. I just had a lil bit of nausea during d 1st trimester, but not to d extend of vomiting. I had 3 check ups so far with Dato' Dr Siti from SDMC.. the baby looks fine n healthy. Talking about Dr Siti, she's the best! No wonder her queue is always damn long. I'm impress with her patience in handling patients despite d long list of patients she has and sometimes had to attend to emergency cases in between. N she has multiracial patients which is kinda rare.. u see, chinese patients wont normally go to malay gynae (through my years of observation) unless the gynae is really damn good. N she's already at her 60s. Isn't she amazing? My hubby couldn't agree more. And thanks to hubby for his willingness to wake up extra early (6am) every check-up days to ensure i got the 1st 7 numbers in Q. He's such a darling!

Cant wait for the next check-up where my detail scan is scheduled. Hope to see his/her gender, tho no doubt, i don't mind if i get another boy or girl cuz i already have both. All i wish for is healthy and a perfect baby. Nevertheless, having 'selang bunga' is even better :).

M so loving my 'unplanned pregnancy' this time around! Can really feel all the love around me :). Irfan n Sarah are so excited to have another baby in the family. But Irfan once did voice out his concern about me being pregnant again.. "mummy.. irfan suka ada baby.. tapi irfan takutla.. irfan takut mummy mati.." hahaha! i wonder where he got such idea! Too many cerekarama i guess :p. Sarah is ok with it, only that, she did say "mummy, mummy rasa baby ni girl ke boy? nanti dia naughty tak mcm Dzarif?" haha! So cute! Anyway peeps, wish me luck for the next few months to come!

What do you normally give as a birthday pressie to your other half?

I always find it difficult to buy presents for my husband.. cuz he's not a GQ or posh kinda guy who appreciates a Boss belt, or a LV wallet or a Gucci shoes or anything of that sort. And he doesn't wear tie to work (bless him for being an O&G engineer!) or any cufflink (i think i would burst out laughing if i ever see him using cufflink on his shirt wic is so not him :p).

I know he likes watches, but he already has a few. Would love to get him a Tag Heuer, but the model that he likes is way off my budget.. i earn half of his pay, so i strongly believe he should get it for me instead :p. He likes shoes.. but nahhh.. he can always buy his favourite shoes anytime. He loves gadgets, but i think he has most of it. Oh, except Macbook Pro, n again, not within my budget :p.

I suggested PS3, but he said he wants to buy if for Irfan. N yes, he bought it already as a 'sunat' present for irfan last December. Can you imagine that? Sunat pun boleh dapat hadiah! Kids nowadays....

So in the end, i gave up. I told him, "just tell me what u want, n i'll get it for u.. but remember my budget! hehehe"

His birthday was last November, 3 days after mine. N he just got his birthday present few days ago. N guess what it is?

This headphone is totally awesome! No wonder he wanted it so bad. But to be honest, i'd rather spend the same amount of money for a handbag, or jewellery :p.

Went to MPH Carnival just now. Not that cheap like the one in Big Bad Wolf Sale 2011, tho...

Books are only discounted at 10% - 30%.. nothing to fancy about.

But i managed to grab few workbooks for Irfan and Sarah.

Bought 3 different sets of workbooks for each subjects; BM, BI, Science, Maths, Pend Islam, Bahasa Arab & Jawi for both of them.

I am always out of control whenever i buy workbooks for them.. cuz i'd end up buying from all sorts of brands!

Luckily I only have 2 hands to carry all the books plus a 'tapawd' McD's prosperity burger set. If not, i might have bought more! heeee..

Bought all the stationary from Faber Castell too... i like!

There were school shoes and school uniforms too in the Carnival but i dare not buy any cuz i wasn't sure of the kids' sizes.

Laterla, probably this weekend we'll shop for their uniforms.

I told them to shop with d papa but they refused. I asked why and they said "ala mummy ni.... ifan taknaklaaa... biar papa bagi duit kat mummy then mummy beli ngan ifan n sarah.. pls..."

In my heart.. "salam takziah la papa ko nak bagi duit.. Haji Bakhil n busuk hati.. takde maknenye dia nk bagi mummy ko duit just to buy stuff for you, sayang oi.... duit makan pun 1 sen tak terpelanting! dia takut mummy ko ni terlebih kaya kalau dia bagi duit for your nafkah.. busuk hati cam bangkai la katakan..." but i'd rather keep it to myself than saying it out to Irfan n Sarah.. i'll let the kids to judge.. :)

One of the lines from the movie that is still stuck in my head besides "Abang rindu......." with his tears dropping...

It was so touching.....

To those of u who havent watched Ombak Rindu, please do (i know my other half wont! :p).. I read the novel prior to watching the movie and it took me 3 days to finish reading it (3 days, everyday, after work) until my husband said i was so 'parah' cuz whenever he entered our bedroom, he would be seeing me glued to d novel, ignoring him n the rest of the clan. hehe.. (kasi chance la yang.. hikhik).

Thumbs up to the director and the rest of the crew of Ombak Rindu for making me sobbed in most scenes of the movie eventhough they skipped many parts of the novel. I came out from the cinema hall with red nose like a clown and 'sembab' eyes :p

Maya Karin played Izzah's role so well. It could have been better if the movie was longer. She's beautiful...

Lisa was a bit overacting to my opinion, but I know she has tried her best to play Mila's role... btw, omg.. she is so skinny!!!

Aaron Aziz.. enough said, he is superb! Memang Hero idaman Malaya! He made me fall in love with him over n over again since Nora Elena! oh aaronnnnnnn......!

Bront Palarae.. he didnt appear in many scenes, but he played his role well.. such a sweet kampung boy.. :)

I have officially stopped full breastfeeding after 1 year 8 months 3 weeks 3 days.

And I will tell you why very soon.

But I still breastfeed Dzarif at night cuz he cannot sleep without sucking it. I think there's still milk, if not much cuz I have stopped expressing my milk in office.

He still sleeps with me and refuses to sleep next to daddy at night (but he's ok to sleep with daddy whenever i'm not around. weird kan.. ngade2..).

I hope i can wean him off totally from breastfeeding in few more weeks.

Just got back from a short vacation n I am freaking tired physically. Will blog about it whenever I have the time (I hope!). hihihi.. i know i know.. i have loads of pending entries on vacations since 2010! my bad... cuz malas nk cerita ceriti.. as i have uploaded most of the vacation pics in FB.

My kids are so tanned now cuz we went for island hopping as well. And talking about tanned skin, my girl had these conversation with me few days ago that made me giggled

G: mommy, kenapa mommy putih?

M: sebab nenek & atok putih..

G: habis tu, kenapa sarah hitam?

M: (terkedu) errrr.. I guess sebab Sarah ikut papa. Papa kan tak putih

G: yeke? mana ada! Sarah ikut daddy lah! hitam manis!

M: (haha! serious tak tahan nak gelak!) oh ok then.. Sarah ikut daddy

G: tapi... kenapa Dzarif putih macam mummy? Dzarif kan boy.. Sarah girl..

M: (haiyooo ini budak.. i was speechless) ala... tak kisahla hitam ke putih.. semuanya anak mummy.. mummy sayang semua tak kisah hitam ke putih

Hahaha! kids are so observant.

I still remember those days when i started to compare myself with the rest of my siblings. I was fat and they were thin :p

And i remember my sis complained about her mole and felt left out because of it. But at the end of the day, she's famous and known because of it :)

I've never tried it before but i read good remarks about it yg sampai orang boleh mengidam-mengidam!

So when Garrett started their operation in KLCC Malaysia recently, i urged my hubby to buy.

He opted for CaramelCrisp, cuz he said the Macadamia CaramelCrisp tasted so-so.. I wanted the CheeseCorn but it was not available at that time.

When i tasted it.. okla, it was quite nice. But i guess i couldnt tolerate with its sweetness (i've always thought i've got sweet tooth evensince m married to my other half! But i was wrong! Dang!). I just ignored the 'too-sweet' taste n i continued eating until i reached a point of pening lalat! haha! Seriously! Makan sampai pening cuz it was too sweet for my taste bud!

Ok, i think i can never buy Garrett in tin size. Berbulan-bulan baru habis kot! Last2 lemau! haha! Besides, i was never a popcorn fan. But i dont mind to have a half gallon of Baskin Robbins or Ben & Jerry's! hehe.. I guess Garrett is too sweet for me. I can only eat a few of it at 1 go.

Sarah was awarded with 'Murid Terbaik Prasekolah 2011' with 2 of her classmates.

I was proud to receive the invitation to witness the Anugerah Cemerlang in her school.

Eventhough she's not even in primary school yet, her achievement really touched my heart.

The teacher informed me that she was quite active in school too.

She loves sports n she even ran for her school in 4x50m n her school team got 2nd place!

She even participated in drawing competition n traditional dance competition presenting her school. Not bad ey for a preschool student.

I have no regrets for taking her out from Real Kids and made her study in preschool in Sekolah Kebangsaan. I could see her drastic improvement in all aspects ie BM, BI, Maths, Agama - Jawi n extracurricular activities. So who says u need to send your kids to expensive kindies just to ensure they r good in everything? Not necessarily ok.. The only extra class i sent her to is English Kumon n insyaallah Maths Kumon starting next year.

I hope she will maintain the way she is in her primary school years. Insyaallah.. Amin.

As for Irfan, I never expected him to get top 3 in class cuz the 1st top 3 students are super genius! They got 99%-100% for almost all of the core subjects! Gilakan? Sigh.. kids nowadays are too smart.

I told Irfan that he must get all As in his core subjects, if not top 3 or top 10.

And alhamdulillah, he did it :)

He will still be in good class next year, alhamdulillah..

I heard the standard 3 syllabus will be more challenging esp on BM n BI subjects cuz they have essays to write. Matila mummy nak coach.. and i dont think I'm capable to do it.

So that's it. Tuition might be the best solution.

It seems like next year, mommy and daddy have to work harder!

I am a member of The Picture Company since last year when i had a photoshoot for Dzarif. As a member, I'm entitle to get free photoshoots throughout the year and I did not go for any photoshoot even once, not until last weekend, when my membership is expiring this 27 November. Teruk, kan? Such a waste, I know. I always get scolded by my other half becuz of this.. hehe. I am a kinda person who easily get attracted to any promotions/packages, paid for it, and did not utilise it thereafter. hikhik.. bukan apa.. i always lupa! *my number 1 reason :p*

The photoshoot session last weekend was a chaotic one. Dzarif was more attracted to the toys there, so he refused to sit still in front of the camera. We had to coax him smpai berpeluh-peluh and made a lot of noises (come to a point, i felt like hubby & i sounded like monkeys :p) to attract his attention. Adoih.. such a tiring session. Luckily Irfan n Sarah were sporting enough to give few good pose n of course, sabar melayan kerenah si adik yg cranky. And thanks to the professional photographer for capturing good shots despite dzarif wailed non-stop. Surprisingly, no pictures of him crying! wah! magic! hehe..

October ada banyak sangat cerita. Ade cerita suka, ada cerita duka. Let me start with the sad story first..

My beloved teacher, arwah Cikgu Hamizer passed away few weeks ago at a very young age (at 50s I guess). He was one of my favorite teacher. Dedicated, enthusiastic, caring, are best to describe him. Kalau dia mengajar, memang penuh semangat. His favorite weapon to punish us those days was the long wooden ruler. Kalau buat silap atau didnt meet his expectation, memang siapla kene pukul kat tangan dengan pembaris kayu tu. Saya penah kene pukul sampai lebam tapak tangan, sampai luka.. tapi sikit pun saya tak simpan dendam. Unlike his wife, my former BM teacher, memang kuat mencubit smpai luka2, tapi tak tahu kenapa, i never liked her as mush as i like/love him. I ada softspot towards him. Probably his wife was more strict, hardly smile, n she punished us on every small little thing. I still remember I had to jalan itik pusing 1 classroom for few rounds until my legs n knees became wobbly over petty thing (I cant remember what, though..). Lepas tu, senior2 yg duduk kelas atas dok perhatikan kami kene jalan itik sambil gelak2.. (padahal derang pun waktu tu kene denda berdiri atas meja. ceh! :p). Oh, that moment was totally embarrassing. Nevertheless, her effort in teaching me is much appreciated. Because of her, I scored well in my BM paper for SPM. Back to arwah, he was also my former handball coach. Masih teringat-ingat how he coached us. He was sooo good. Entahlah, there is something about arwah that made him being loved so much by all his students. We were reconnected again through FB after so many years, n we had a chat through FB. I asked him, "Cikgu masih ingat saya?" And he replied "Mestila ingat. Awakkan nakal!" cehhh.. sempat lagi arwah buat lawak! n he continued "takla.. muka awak tak berubah pun.. anak dah berapa?" n bla bla bla bla.. He told me that he had moved to KL at that time and told me something else too. Ala... sedih plk bila cerita pasal arwah ni... Okla, i think I should stop right now before I cry buckets in front of my PC. Saya doakan arwah digolongkan di kalangan org yg beriman.. Alfatihah untuk cikgu... Saya sayannnnggggg sangat kat cikgu!

Cerita sedih seterusnye is about my parents house in Pasir Gudang. At last, after 15 years, the house is sold. Betullah org kata, kita manusia hanya merancang, tapi Tuhan yang menentukan.. I still remember those days, my mom used to tell us that she'd rather settle down in Johor rather than in Rembau (our hometown). Reason being, my mom & dad had been living in Johor for years (since they started working) and lotsa friends & memories there. but I guess, as they aged, family comes 1st. Most of our relatives are in KL n Rembau. 2 (my sis & I) of their kids are staying in KL so it's kinda far to travel back n forth (they travel once/twice a month in average to KL to see us and for other matters). So i guess it's kinda easier to stay nearby close family members n relatives as they aged. Furthermore, I guess it's ridiculous to have few houses n maintains all the houses at the same time.. It's costly and tiring. So i guess these factors contributed to the decision making. But not to worry, their businesses are still running in JB. They have an apartment there to stay put whenever they are in JB, just the 2 of them. N as for me, I will still go down to JB for as long as my PIL are still there. So, takdela rasa kerinduan sgt kat JB.. cume rindu kat rumah PG tu jela nanti. Last raya haji was our last raya celebration in that house. Sedih pulak. Surprisingly, all the furniture were still intact, mcm takde ura2 nk pindah. Rupa2nye my mom is waiting for everybody to collect their booked furniture. My mom is letting go most of the furniture in the house. Malas nk bawak balik Rembau katanye.. furthermore, Rembau's house is fully furnished. She is also too lazy to think of doing any garage sale. So, she opt to give away most of 'em except for her chesterfield sofa set and her favorite crystals. I had my share too.. ihiks. I took some of the furniture to my small casa. So, skrg rumahku sgt sempit! Padan muka! :p. To my PG house, m gona miss u.. miss u loads! banyak memories kat sana eventho i dont stay there most of the time (cuz i was in boarding school, uni n married). I hope the new owner takes good care of u.. :)

Happy stories ni cite psl new babies! My friend's sis gave birth to quadruplets!! U heard me? Kembar 4 hokay!! I think it was in October, or was it at end Sept, Mia? Tak bape ingat. But i was so happy for her n her family. Bukan senang nk dapat kembar 4.. kalau i, sure fengsan! hikhik. She had some complication during birth and the babies are in incubator til now since birth cuz the they were too small.. less than a kg each. I hope they are doing fine.. yet to visit cuz not advisable. I pray for their speedy recoveries n for them to be in their mommy's arm. To Zila, be strong girl! I know u are! *hugs*

N next story is, my BFF just gave birth to twinsesses!! Masyaallah.... the twins are sooooo adorable!! Macam anak Jepun!! Nothing like the mom or dad! (sorry ita... hikhik.. okla.. adela muka ita tang kiyut miyut tu.. but the twins are soooo fair!). She told me, kalau nk anak cam Jepun, minum la yakult banyak2! hahaha! Apakah? I couldnt wait to see the babies the moment i saw their pictures in FB. Rasa mcm nk picit2! kiyut miyut sgt their features! mata tecik, idong tecik, bibir tecik.. sumenye tecik-tecik.. comel sgt!! Dzarif relax je tgk mummy dia dok gomol2 the twins.. pelik plk tgk dia tak jeles. hehehe.. To Ita, m so happy for u sayang! Worth the wait!

Our Syawal

Syawal has passed by so quickly and it's already the month of Dhu Al-Qi'dah, and I have yet to update a single entry on Syawal celebration. Sorry for that. Yeah, I know.. I'm a lousy blogger! :p

I was extremely busy throughout the month of Syawal. My weekends were full with 'eating events', not forgetting my weekdays' too. I guess that's the beauty of having to work as business people, we get to attend loads of corporate open houses. Mind you, most of it were held in 5 star hotels! And surely, how could i resist that? Free food like almost every other day! hihi. But honestly, it was not good for my tummy (not forgetting my body. yup, I am expanding!). If only it could screamed, I'm sure it would say "Help!!! Stop stuffing me with food!!" haha!

So, where did i celebrated my Eid this year?

As we are on rotating basis, it was my hubby's turn this year. We went back to Johor, of course. I managed to meet my parents 2 days before Syawal, n then they were off to Rembau. N fyi, this is my 1st raya, after almost 33 years, not having my parents around on the 1st day of raya. haha! Boley? Cuz normally, eventhough we celebrated raya in JB, my parents would still be around and celebrated 1st raya in JB as well. And whenever my parents were around, my hubby preferred to sleep at my parents' house cuz there's room for us. No extra room in my inlaws' house, n my husband doesn't like the idea of us anak-beranak bergelimpangan together with the maid at the living room.. lagi la sekarang I am still breastfeeding and my 'toot' will be exposed to public cuz my baby loves to suck my 'toot' in whatever way he pleases, so no way we gona sleep merata-rata. But, it was not that bad after all for not having my parents around on the 1st day of raya :). But i know my mom missed me.. cuz nobody helped her for raya prep at kampung besides my sis, kawan bertekak dia! haha!

Purple was our theme colour for this year's 1st raya. Brown for 2nd raya and 3rd raya was caca-marba! haha! And for this raya, surprisingly, i didnt have mood to take pictures. So, i have very lil pictures of me. And yg lagi sedih, no picture of me n hubby! I guess my husband's side are not into taking pictures sangat as compared to my side.. yg mostly are camwhores (esp my sis!), paparazis and mamarazis!

2nd raya, we shoot off to Batu Pahat and Muar. It was so hot on the 2nd day of raya.. i totally had no mood to even give a smile.. my baju kurung was all wet with sweat. The kids' too. So, mmg jangan harapla nk posing2. But what i like about beraya in Batu Pahat/Muar was, almost every houses served rice and lauk asam pedas! Can u imagine that? they serve rice + lauk pauk to guests during raya! I never had such experience of eating rice and lauk pauk in rembau during 1st - 2nd raya. Selalu makan the normal raya dishes je.. And at night of 2nd raya itself, hubby decided to go back to Rembau. Yeay!

Owh btw, look what i've found after uploading raya pictures to laptop!

The only picture of me and hubby! oklakan.. than nothing! hihihi.. and i found it in my sis' camera! Ade hikmah jugak ade adik yg vain lagi camwhore! :p

We stayed few days in Rembau.. visiting the normal relatives.. and also welcoming relatives to come over to our kampung house. It was fun! Barula terasa raya.. cuz my kampung house will always be flooded with people every raya. it's like we are organising open house everyday! and it will normally continues til the 5th of raya at least. Like seriously! You should come over to my kampung house to witness it.

On the 1st Saturday of Syawal, the whole of Zaleha's (my late grandma) went to PNB Ilham Resort, Port Dickson. That was actually our 3rd visit there. We like it so much cuz it has 2 to 4 rooms apartment, cool view, a not-that-bad-size swimming pool and barbecue pits! oh, and karaoke session at night plus the extreme activities facilities! We like! We booked two 3-rooms apartments to accommodate us all.

Hubby and my sis did the abseiling. I didn't dare to do it. My legs were already wobbly the moment i reached the highest top of the apartment and no way i would go down using the rope! But i did the other Ilham Extreme Challenge (cant remember the exact name for it) and it was quite scary too. And i did it. Should I be proud of myself? hehehe.. well, i know my dad n hubby were proud of me! ngeh ngeh. N guess wat? Irfan did it too! M so proud of u darling! He was pretty fast climbing up the rope, maybe due his super light weight. And he was so cool as compared to his uncle (age 9! :p) who looked like as if he wanted to cry the moment he reached the top of the tree! LOL

3 siblings! (note: i think the eldest will always be the shortest :p)

Managed to meet up with my friends too during Syawal. But we managed to get ourselves captured in photos at Awie's n TJ's house only. Rumah org2 lain dah malas nk amik gambar! There are actually more photos, but I havent got the time to upload it to my laptop frm my camera.

Banyak lagi activities actually throughout Syawal.. including went to Sunway Lagoon and get ourselves burnt :p. But laterla, kalau rajin, i'll blog bout it :)

Actually, dah lama tak cite about this matter.

Sebab kalau boleh taknak cite lagi, sebab saya anggap semuanya dah mati.

Sebelum ni, bila diganggu, saya buat bodoh je.. malas nak pening2.. lagipun saya rasa anak-anak dah cukup besar untuk menilai yang baik dan yang buruk.

Tapi, lately ni, makin aggressive pula gangguannya.

Rumah saya diganggu, dan sekarang, telefon rumah saya pulak diganggu.

Macam ni la pe'el manusia yang tak reti nak hormat orang.. suka suki nak mengganggu keamanan rumahtangga orang.

Lepas tu, menyalak mcm anjing tak benti-benti.

Dari dulu sampai sekarang asyik memburukkan saya, kononnya saya kejam.

Cakaplah apa-apa pun, Allah lebih mengetahui setiap perbuatan dan tindak-tanduk dari dulu hingga kini.

Action speaks louder than words.

N tell you what, apa kata kamu berhenti menyalak mcm anjing, dan berhenti buat fitnah dan berhenti buat cerita kesian tak sudah-sudah yang kononnya saya kejam.. and why not kamu bertindak instead.

Saya tahu kamu takkan bertindak sebab kamu tahu, kalau kamu bertindak, kamu kene pikul tanggungjawab dari A-Z, sebagaimana kamu bertanggungjawab ke atas anak baru kamu tu (eh, yeke bertanggungjawab? ke menepek atas harta isteri lagi? harta mak mentua? hihi.. memang opportunist sejak azali.. tak sangka ada jugak orang2 yang nak bela biawak hidup macam kamu).

Sudah-sudah la tu.. jagala keluarga baru kamu baik-baik.

Janganlah nak menyibuk dengan orang-orang lama yang kamu dah rosakkan dan hancurkan hati dan perasaannya.

Dan jagalah anak dara kamu tu, jangan jadi perempuan sundal macam isteri kamu tu, yang bersekedudukan dengan suami orang, walaupun ketika isteri orang tu sedang hamilkan anak kamu. Apa? Nak deny? Tak payahla.. saksi terlalu ramai. Allah pun nampak apa yang kamu dah lakukan. Jadi, sekarang kamu dah kawin (akhirnyaaaa :)), mind your own business la ye.. :). Buat kejutaan kalinya, jangan ganggu kami!

Yeay! Ari ni dapat update blog after soooooo long! hehehe.. (mcmla dah sebulan tak update! :p). Been very very busy lately.. with shorter working hours throughout ramadhan, so i have very limited time to update my blog in the office.. cuz i dont blog at home.. sbb kat rumah lagi busy.. nak melayan 3 kanak2 comel and daddynye :).

Many stories to tell actually.. so bear with me ppl.. with this longggg entry! hehehe.. so where shall I start?

Hows your Ramadhan so far? Mine was ok. Managed to fast for the 1st 3 weeks of Ramadhan and only started 'cuti' on last Monday.. So far, i only ponteng for 5 days as of today. I also managed to perform most of my prayers.. alhamdulillah! Cuma, i fail in performing any Tarawikh prayers.. my bad.. bukan ape.. d 1st week of ramadhan, i was busy doing revision with irfan for his 3rd semester exam. Come the following week, i was busy with somthing else pulak.. n Dzarif mmg tak boleh tgk muka i.. the moment i entered the house, mmg kalau boleh dia nk berkepit je dgn i.. ish, byknye alasan tak bertarawikh! yeah, i knw, when there's a will, there's a way.. i hope i'll do better in next ramadhan, insyaallah..

N yeay! so far, i've not been to any single buffet! clap clap! berjaya juga akhirnye! hehehe.. makan kat luar pun jarang.. so far, besides balik kampung n buka at my aunty's hse, we only had a buka puasa kat luar at Restoran Muhibbah. itupun pergi lepas sembahyang maghrib.. i guess dah tua kot.. malas nk bersesak-sesak esp bile bawak budak2.. haru biru dibuatnye bile org ramai sgt. So, bile pergi lepas maghrib, baru boleh eat in peace :). The rest, i cume buka kat luar sekali je without the kids.. buka ngan ilie n my sis. hari lain2, i masak n makan kat rumah sama2.. syiok! Especially when i get to cook the kids' fav dishes :)

Few days before his exam i was so stress out becuz, 1stly, it's the month of Ramadhan n m a full time cook during this month n a full time working mom. 2ndly, my baby needs my attention as well.. i have his nenen. 3rdly, the kids n i need to sleep early cuz we need to wake up early for sahur the next morning. So, agak huru-hara la la jugak my life 1 week before his exam n during his exam week. Luckily Irfan is such a good, obedient and hardworking boy. He knows how it feels like to get As in all his papers. We did revision together. He frequently asked on things that he couldn't understand. And i was officially an unpaid tuition teacher.. ahaks! Can you imagine, i brought all his exercise books to office so that i could mark them all? hihihi.. n red pen was my bestfriend! I felt like i was a school teacher! :p. It was easier to mark his work in office, cuz by the time i reached home, i could easily point to his mistakes only n told him what he did wrong so that he wouldn't repeat the same mistakes.

Alhamdulillah... pengorbananku 'berstress-stressan' sgt2 berbaloi. Irfan got straight As! Still remember how he sounded everytime he called me in office to inform his marks. Setiap hari he would update me. "Mummy!! irfan dapat 99.5%!" the next day, "Mummy!! i got 98%!" n the next day, he gave me the same happy news again. Could hear that happy tone in his voice :)

But the funny thing was, before he got all his marks, he gave me this card..

"I love u mummy I will not noty (naughty) again I will work hard at the atzam (exam) I promis (promise)"
Awww.. sho schweet.... eventho spelling tunggang langgang.. :p but the message was clearly conveyed.

Sweetla anak mummy. Takut sangat if he ever disappoint me with his marks. n the fact is, i takdela disappointed sgt pun if he gets B (but definitely i'll be disappointed if he gets a C). Cuz i know he has tried his best. Cume, i want him to know how it feels to get good marks/grades in exam. I want him to feel proud of himself. N i want him to know the feel of winning. Nombor berapa dlm class is not that important to me.. yg penting As.

Oh, there's another improvement in Irfan lately.. maybe berkat daddy slalu ajak sembahyang jemaah throughout Ramadhan.. he prays!!

Seronok tengok! I cant remember myself diligently prayed at his age. Tapi Irfan selalu ingat.. like yesterday, i suruh dia tido cuz it was already 10pm, then dia cakap, dia blm sembahyang isya'.. alhamdulillah.. sejuk perut mummy mengandung :)

Few days ago (or maybe weeks?), i read Kak Nani's blog. Then i saw a post from her to join her for the SKII consultation. She needed 5 poeple. I ape lagi.. cepat2 la sms kak nani! hehehe.. then kak nani cakap, dah full. waktu tu sedih jek.. tapi takpela.. xde rezeki nk jmpa kak nani yg cun melecun tu..

Then few days later, kak nani called me n said there was still an empty slot. I was like yahuuuuu!!

Our skin were being analysed by the consultant and we were taught on how to use the product. Sebenarnye mcm best je kalau dpt guna SKII.. but honestly, i think it's too pricey.. i had never spent hundreds (>RM500), let alone thousands for skin care all my life! mcm ngeri nk spend that much. tunggula kalau besok2 my hubby earns RM30k per month, i might cnsider using :p

We were given trial sample for a week usage. but i blm try lagi.. maybe after raya kot. Takut kalau i try skrg, n kebetulan tak sesuai ngan my skin, tak alih2 kuar jerawat bertongkol2 pulak.. :p

serawa durian

Sepanjang bulan puasa tahun ni, i masak almost everyday. sehari je tak masak which was last saturday.. itupun still masak gak.. masak kuehteow goreng as makanan tambahan. Memang berbeza sgt ngan tahun2 lepas where i hardly cook. Pelik gak nape tahun ni rajin sangat. hihi. maybe sebab my new maid blm pandai masak sangat n my hubby mmg tak bley makan her cooking unless terpaksa :p. So disebabkan kesian n sayang laki, saya masakla dengan penuh kasih sayangggg.. hehe.. plus tahun ni my kids puasa dengan bersungguh2.. until today, belom ponteng walaupn sehari.. bagus anak2 mummy.. proud of u both! so, disebabkan derang puasa dengan gigih, mummy pun bersemangatla nk masak untuk anak2 tersayang.. :)

Btw, since cite pasal masak, nk citela pasal my recent kempunan batu belah batu bertangkup..

yestrday, i cooked mee kari n serawa durian for iftar.. plus sambal sardin cuz my hubby mmg favourite dia tu.. so i masak in case kalau tetiba dia nk makan nasi.

n my sis came n bawak kuih segala.. since buka dh makan byk sangat, terus dah tak larat nk makan serawa durian tu.. tapi sempatla makan 2 sudu.. n i thought of continue eating it today for buka.. sekali tadi i called my maid to remind her to put the serawa in the fridge in case dia terlupa n she said, "ooohh.. bubur duriannya sudah habis". i pun terkejutla.. n asked "ha? dh habis?" n she replied "iya... saya makan pagi tadi.." huwaaaa! sedihnye dengar.. hati pedih bagai dicucuk sembilu! (haha! drama..). parahla maid aku sorang ni.. dia mmg pemakan.. n kebetulan dia boleh suka pulak ngan serawa durian tu.. mon dulu terbalik pulak.. bnda2 yg dia jarang makan kat indon mmg dia takkn makan kat mesia ni.. sotong pn taknk sentuh. haihhh.. mcm2 perangai maid ni kan... tapi, watever it is, my heart is broken. hopefully ade la org beli durian nanti.. nk buat serawa durian lagik

Kesilapan Muslim dalam Bulan Ramadhan

I received this via email. Thought it would be useful to share it here with you people... Insyaallah, sama2 kita improvekan mana2 yg tersilap..

1) Makan dan minum dengan bebas setelah batal puasa dengan sengaja (bukan kerana uzur yang diterima Islam).

Perlu diketahui bahawa sesiapa yang batal puasanya dengan sengaja tanpa uzur seperti mengeluarkan mani secara sengaja, merokok, makan dan minum. Ia dilarang untuk makan dan minum lagi atau melakukan apa jua perkara yang membatalkan puasa yang lain sepanjang hari itu. (Fiqh as-Siyam, Al-Qaradawi, hlm 112).

Ia dikira denda yang pertama baginya selain kewajiban menggantikannya kemudiannya... Keadaan ini disebut di dalam sebuah hadith, Ertinya : "sesungguhnya sesiapa yang telah makan (batal puasa) hendaklah ia berpuasa baki waktu harinya itu" (Riwayat al-Bukhari)

2) Makan sahur di waktu tengah malam kerana malas bangun di akhir malam.

Jelasnya, individu yang melakukan amalan ini terhalang dari mendapat keberkatan dan kelebihan yang ditawarkan oleh Nabi SAW malah bercanggah dengan sunnah baginda. "Sahur" itu sendiri dari sudut bahasanya adalah waktu terakhir di hujung malam. Para Ulama pula menyebut waktunya adalah 1/6 terakhir malam. (Awnul Ma'bud, 6/469). Imam Ibn Hajar menegaskan melewatkan sahur adalah lebih mampu mencapai objektif yang diletakkan oleh Nabi SAW. (Fath al-Bari, 4/138)

3) Bersahur dengan hanya makan & minum sahaja tanpa ibadah lain.

Ini satu lagi kesilapan umat Islam kini, waktu tersebut pada hakikatnya adalah antara waktu terbaik untuk beristigfar dan menunaikan solat malam.

Firman Allah ketika memuji orang mukmin ertinya : " dan ketika waktu-waktu bersahur itu mereka meminta ampun dan beristighfar" (Az-Zariyyat : 18)

Ertinya : "Ditanya kepada Nabi (oleh seorang sahabat) : Wahai Rasulullah :" Waktu bilakah doa paling didengari (oleh Allah s.w.t) ; jawab Nabi : Pada hujung malam (waktu sahur) dan selepas solat fardhu" ( Riwayat At-Tirmidzi, no 3494 , Tirmidzi & Al-Qaradhawi : Hadis Hasan ; Lihat Al-Muntaqa , 1/477)

4) Menunaikan solat witir sejurus selepas terawih.

Menurut dalil-dalil yang sohih, waktu yang terbaik bagi

witir adalah penutup segala solat sunat di sesuatu hari itu berdasarkan hadith ertinya "Jadikanlah solat sunat witir sebagai solat kamu yang terakhir dalam satu malam". (Fath al-Bari, no 936). Sememangnya tidak salah untuk melakukan witir selepas terawih, cuma sekiranya seseorang itu yakin akan kemampuannya untuk bangun bersahur dan boleh melakukan solat sunat selepas itu, maka adalah lebih elok ia melewatkan witirnya di akhir malam.

5) Tidak menunaikan solat ketika berpuasa.

Ia adalah satu kesilapan yang maha besar. Memang benar, solat bukanlah syarat sah puasa. Tetapi ia adalah rukun Islam yang menjadi tonggak kepada keislaman sesorang. Justeru, 'ponteng' solat dengan sengaja akan menyebabkan pahala puasa seseorang itu menjadi 'kurus kering' pastinya.

6) Tidak mengutamakan solat Subuh berjemaah sebagaimana Terawih.

Ini jelas suatu kelompongan yang ada dalam masyarakat tatakala berpuasa. Ramai yang lupa dan tidak mengetahui kelebihan besar semua solat fardhu berbanding solat sunat, teruatamnya solat subuh berjemaah yang disebutkan oleh Nabi SAW bagi orang yang mendirikannya secara berjemaah, maka beroleh pahala menghidupkan seluruh malam.

7) Menunaikan solat terawih di masjid dengan niat inginkan meriah.

Malanglah mereka kerana setiap amalan di kira dengan niat, jika niat utama seseorang itu ( samada lelaki atau wanita) hadir ke masjid adalah untuk meriah dan bukannya atas dasar keimanan dan mengharap ganjaran redha Allah sebagaimana yang ditetapkan oleh Nabi SAW di dalam hadith riwayat al-Bukhari. Maka, "Sesungguhnya sesuatu amalan itu dikira dengan niat". (Riwayat al-Bukhari)

8 ) Bermalasan dan tidak produktif dalam kerja-kerja di siang hari

Dengan alasan berpuasa. Sedangkan, kerja yang kita lakukan di pejabat dengan niat ibadat pastinyamenambahkan lagi pahala. Justeru, umat Islam sewajarnya memperaktifkanprodu ktiviti mereka dan bukan mengurangkannya di Ramadhan ini.

9) Memperbanyakkan tidur di siang hari dengan alasan ia adalah ibadat.

Sedangkan Imam As-Sayuti menegaskan bahawa hadith yang menyebut berkenaan tidur orang berpuasa itu ibadat adalah amat lemah. (al-Jami' as-Soghir ; Faidhul Qadir, Al-Munawi, 6/291)

10) Menganggap waktu imsak sebagai 'lampu merah' bagi sahur.

Ini adalah kerana waktu imsak sebenarnya tidak lain hanyalah 'lampu amaran oren' yang di cadangkan oleh beberapa ulama demi mengingatkan bahawa waktu sahur sudah hampir tamat. Ia bukanlah waktu tamat untuk makan sahur, tetapi waktu amaran sahaja. Lalu, janganlah ada yang memberi alasan lewat bangun dan sudah masuk imsak lalu tidak dapat berpuasa pada hari itu. Waktu yang disepakti ulama merupakan waktu penamat sahur adalah sejurus masuk fajar sadiq (subuh). (As-Siyam, Dr Md 'Uqlah, hlm 278)

11) Wanita berterawih beramai-ramai dimasjid tanpa menjaga aurat.

Ini nyata apabila ramai antara wanita walaupun siap bertelekung ke masjid, malangnya kaki dan aurat mereka kerap terdedah da didedahkan berjalan dan naik tangga masjid di hadapan jemaah lelaki. Tatkala itu, fadhilat mereka solat di rumah adalah lebih tinggi dari mendatangkan fitnah buat lelaki ketika di masjid.

12) Memasuki Ramadhan dalam keadaan harta masih dipenuhi dengan harta haram

Samada terlibat dengan pinjaman rumah, kad kredit, insuran, pelaburan dan kereta secara riba. Ini sudah tentu akan memberi kesan yang amat nyata kepada kualiti ibadah di bulan Ramadhan, kerana status orang terlibat dengan riba adalah sama dengan berperang dengan Allah dan RasulNya, tanpa azam dan usaha untuk mengubahnya dengan segera di bulan 'tanpa Syaitan' ini, bakal menyaksikan potensi besar untuk gagal terus untuk kembali ke pangkal jalan di bulan lain.

Nabi Muhammad menceritakan :-

Ertinya : menyebut tentang seorang pemuda yang bermusafir dalam perjalanan yang jauh, hal rambutnya kusut masai, mukanya berdebu di mana dia mengangkat tangan ke langit : Wahai Tuhankuâ€¦wahai Tuhankuâ€¦ sedangkan makanannya haram, minumannya haram dan pakaiannya haram..Dan dia dibesarkan dengan memakan makanan haram maka bagaimana Kami mahu mengabulkan doanya. ( Riwayat Muslim, no 1015, 2/703 ; hadis sohih)

Justeru, bagaimana Allah mahu memakbulkan doa orang yang berpuasa sedangkan keretanya haram, rumahnya haram, kad kreditnya haram, insurannya haram, simpanan banknya haram, pendapatannya haram?. Benar, kita perlu bersangka baik dengan Allah, tetapi sangka baik tanpa meloloskan diri dari riba yang haram adalah penipuan kata Imam Hasan Al-Basri.

13) Tidak memperbanyakkan doa tatkala berpuasa dan berbuka.

Ini satu lagi jenis kerugian yang kerap dilakukan oleh umat Islam. Nabi SAW telah menyebut :-

Ertinya : "Tiga golongan yang tidak di tolak doa mereka, pemimpin yang adil, individu berpuasa sehingga berbuka dan doa orang yang di zalimi" ( Riwayat At-Tirmizi, 3595, Hasan menurut Tirmizi. Ahmad Syakir : Sohih )

Selain itu, doa menjadi bertambah maqbul tatkala ingin berbuka berdasarkan hadith.

Ertinya : "Sesungguhnya bagi orang berpuasa itu ketika berbuka (atau hampir berbuka) doa yang tidak akan ditolak" ( Riwayat Ibn Majah, no 1753, Al-Busairi : Sanadnya sohih)

10 Principles of Good Parenting

I found these tips on good parenting while browsing through the internet. I'm sure it's a useful read for you and me :)

1. What You Do Matters

Whether it's your own health behaviors or the way you treat other people, your children are learning from what you do. "This is one of the most important principles," Steinberg explains. "What you do makes a difference...Don't just react on the spur of the moment. Ask yourself, What do I want to accomplish, and is this likely to produce that result?"

2. You Cannot Be Too Loving

"It is simply not possible to spoil a child with love," Steinberg writes. "What we often think of as the product of spoiling a child is never the result of showing a child too much love. It is usually the consequence of giving a child things in place of love -- things like leniency, lowered expectations, or material possessions."

3. Be Involved in Your Child's Life

"Being an involved parent takes time and is hard work, and it often means rethinking and rearranging your priorities. It frequently means sacrificing what you want to do for what your child needs to do. Be there mentally as well as physically."

Being involved does not mean doing a child's homework -- or correcting it. "Homework is a tool for teachers to know whether the child is learning or not," Steinberg says. "If you do the homework, you're not letting the teacher know what the child is learning."

4. Adapt Your Parenting to Fit Your Child

Keep pace with your child's development. Your child is growing up. Consider how age is affecting the child's behavior.

"The same drive for independence that is making your 3-year-old say 'no' all the time is what's motivating him to be toilet trained," writes Steinberg. "The same intellectual growth spurt that is making your 13-year-old curious and inquisitive in the classroom also is making her argumentative at the dinner table."

5. Establish and Set Rules

"If you don't manage your child's behavior when he is young, he will have a hard time learning how to manage himself when he is older and you aren't around. Any time of the day or night, you should always be able to answer these three questions: Where is my child? Who is with my child? What is my child doing? The rules your child has learned from you are going to shape the rules he applies to himself.

"But you can't micromanage your child," Steinberg notes. "Once they're in middle school, you need to let the child do their own homework, make their own choices, and not intervene."

6. Foster Your Child's Independence

"Setting limits helps your child develop a sense of self-control. Encouraging independence helps your child develop a sense of self-direction. To be successful in life, he's going to need both."

It's normal for children to push for autonomy, says Steinberg. "Many parents mistakenly equate their child's independence with rebelliousness or disobedience. Children push for independence because it is part of human nature to want to feel in control rather than to feel controlled by someone else."

7. Be Consistent

"If your rules vary from day to day in an unpredictable fashion or if you enforce them only intermittently, your child's misbehavior is your fault, not his. Your most important disciplinary tool is consistency. Identify your non-negotiables. The more your authority is based on wisdom and not on power, the less your child will challenge it."

8. Avoid Harsh Discipline

Parents should never hit a child, under any circumstances, Steinberg says. "Children who are spanked, hit, or slapped are more prone to fighting with other children," he writes. "They are more likely to be bullies and more likely to use aggression to solve disputes with others."

"There are many other ways to discipline a child -- including 'time out' -- which work better and do not involve aggression."

9. Explain Your Rules and Decisions

"Good parents have expectations they want their child to live up to," he writes. "Generally, parents over-explain to young children and under-explain to adolescents. What is obvious to you may not be evident to a 12-year-old. He doesn't have the priorities, judgment, or experience that you have."

10. Treat Your Child With Respect

"The best way to get respectful treatment from your child is to treat him respectfully," Steinberg writes. "You should give your child the same courtesies you would give to anyone else. Speak to him politely. Respect his opinion. Pay attention when he is speaking to you. Treat him kindly. Try to please him when you can. Children treat others the way their parents treat them. You are modeling behaviors that your child will emulate. Your relationship with your child is the foundation for her relationships with others."

Rewards of Good Parenting

Good parenting helps foster empathy, honesty, self-reliance, self-control, kindness, cooperation, and cheerfulness, says Steinberg. It also promotes intellectual curiosity, motivation, and encourages a desire to achieve. Good parenting also helps protect children from developing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, antisocial behavior, and alcohol and drug abuse.

orang lain yg putus tunang, saya yang sedih..
takpelah.. mungkin ada hikmah..
cuma saya tak suka si lelaki menafikan dia ada perempuan lain (typical man!).
senang cerita, kalau takde angin bertiup, pokok takkan bergoyang.
saya pernah rasa, dan saya tahu macam mana pedihnya bila kekasih/suami kita curang.. atau ada perempuan lain.
pedihnya, hanya Allah yang tahu.. kalau tak pandai kawal emosi, boleh sakit jiwa.
apatah lagi bila kita yang dipersalahkan untuk cover baik segala perbuatan curangnya.
hati bagai disiat-siat, luluh segala jiwa dan raga.. nasib baik, dalam keadaan saya dulu, ada anak2 sebagai penguat jiwa.. ada keluarga dan kawan2 sebagai pembakar semangat..
enough said, bercerai dalam perkahwinan adalah lebih pedih dan menyakitkan daripada putus tunang.
orang2 yg pernah melaluinya akan lebih memahami.
kepada yg berkenaan, bersabar ye.. anggaplah ini semua sebagai satu hikmah.
mungkin Allah nk tunjuk siapa dia sebenarnya sebelum bergelar suami, sebelum beranak pinak.
mungkin juga ada orang yang lebih baik untuk kamu.

buffet, anyone?

Hubby & I have made new Ramadhan resolution this year.. no more Ramadhan buffet! hehehe.. x tahula whether it can be accomplished or not.. hikhik.. cuz.. i love ramadhan buffet! i kan kuat makannnnn.. so mmg la berbaloi kalau i pegi makan buffet! My hubby plk tak berapa kuat makan.. not to say that my hubby is totally not a big eater, but he cant eat too much food at a time. He normally eats sikit2 gradually. For example, dia dh dinner with 3/4 plate of rice, then dia berenti makan then 2 hours later sibuk cari makanan lagi.. haaa.. camtula style dia makan. sikit2 tapi banyak kali. Letih gak nk melayan! :p. I ni makan sekali tapi BANYAK sekali hadap! then i dh tak repeat2 dah..

Ramadhan buffets pun are ridiculously priced lately.. RM100+ sekali makan..? hubby cakap, "daripada u spend byk tu to eat, why not u pegi sedekah kat org susah lagi bagus". gulp. betol gak kan.. but.. it's not an evryday thingy kan... once in a blue moon jek makan buffet during ramadhan.. (hehe.. trying to justify myself :p).

So, since tahun ni adalah tahun berjimat cermat (ya rite!), smlm saya tak membeli, saya memasak! hihi.. My company is so kind to release all muslim staffs at 4.30pm.. but we have to punch in at 8am. ngantok cam zombie k evrytime masuk opis.. ceh! padahal baru 2 hari puasa! :p. So, smlm i smpai umah kol 5.15pm.. hubby requested for black pepper beef whilst irfan n sarah requested for telur dadar n chicken nugget (hadoyyy.. dah takde bnda lain ke nk makan nak oi...). Pastu lauk asam pedas ikan pari yg masak fr dinner the day before ada lagi.. so panaskan je la.. n makan dengan cencalok n sayur kangkung goreng belacan. Simple, but kenyang jugaklah.. alhamdulillah...

Hubby brought a few kuih muih frm pasar ramadhan in Andalas Klang. Every year wajib beli kuih talam n popia kat sana.. sedap sangat2!! Irfan punye kuih pulak, senang je.. karipap! hihi.. sarah tak kisah makan kuih apa.. kuih seri muka pun dia suka :)

Baked this walnut choc chip cookies last weekend, so we ate it for our dessert too :)

Btw, to all breastfeeding mothers out there, hows your 'production' so far? I only managed to get this much per session for these 2 days..

takpela.. i know i've tried my best to ensure my milk supply continues.. i drank lotsa n lotsa water after iftar til sahur and ate kurma.. terwee-wee je kejenye lepas tu! haha! Taknak la skip puasa on n off lagi like last year.. serik nk menggantinye.. maybe last yr was an exception cuz i breastfed exclusively.. now not anymore.. dah campur with formula milk.. so takdela tertekan sangat for me to pump rigorously..

terus taknak bukak-bukak! hahahaha! tak sabar nk celebrate raya la tu! :D

1st Ramadhan

It's already 1st Ramadhan.. time really flies!

Selamat Berpuasa to all muslim friends out there n may this Ramadhan brings you the utmost peace and happiness.. insyaallah..!

My family n i are all excited to celebrate Ramadhan.. especially the kids. They have been bugging me since few weeks back on when can they start fasting. Funny. Cute. They did well last year, managed to fast n just skipped for 1-2 days. Sarah was only 5yo last year.. Proud of her eventhough there were few drama scenes.. menangis2 nak buka at 6pm! haha! Harusla i tak bagi buka! :p. There was 1 day when she had fever n i disallowed her to fast sebab nk makan ubat kan... tu pun dia nangis jugak cuz she wanted to fast pulak.. haihhhhh :p

Since yesterday was the last day we could have meals during the day, we decided to eat out. My hubby dah gegarkan semua org suruh bangun as early as 7am! pisat2 semua org bangun.. katanya nk pegi breakfast kat Nasi Lemak Tangling.. n later to Midvalley. Semangat semua org bangun.. haha! but in the end we couldnt find the nasi lemak stall! puasla tawaf 1 Bukit Aman! kikikiki.. i really thought my hubby knew the place sbb dia yg bersemangat nk pegi. adeh.. potong stim! btw, nasi lemak tangling tu mmg takde signboard ke? sape penah pegi?

i actually suggested nasi lemak at Village Park, Damansara.. but he said it was too far. yelah tu... dah berpusing2 1 KL, sama jek distance dia kan.. So in the end, we ate at Amjal near UM entrance, n sgtla tak sedap breakfast dia.. uwek!

Then we went to Midvalley. Main purpose: nak cari kasut raya anak2. haihhh.. susah betol nk cari kasut budak2 ni... (or mummy n daddy nye yg cerewet? :p). Ade yg berkenan, size pulak takde.. yg ade size, tak cantik pulak... last2 jumpa kasut sarah aje in MV.. n since ysterday was 31st, beli icecream Baskin Robbins adalah wajib!

Then we had lunch at Italiannies.

Then we continued our kids' shoe hunt at Subang Parade n Empire. Last2 jumpa yg berkenan kat Empire.. so ok, kids' shoes, checked! :). Lps ni, projek cari baju kurung n baju melayu je. I dah tempah tapi beli je la additional baju kurung in case the tailormades arent ready on time. It can happen, u know. Hubby pun dah tempah in JB.. so balik raya nantila baru amik, hopefully muat! :p

Korea Day 4

4th day, at last.....! adeh.. bercinta nk habiskan entries korea ni.. hihi. n i just realised i have still pending entries on my Bali trip last Jan and my north trip last December! hahaha! berkurunnnnnnnn...! LOLs! tengokla.. kalau rajin, i sambung the entries.. if not, lupekan jela... hehe

Ok, our 4th day started off with the visit to the amethyst factory. South Korea is also well known for its amethyst. And amethyst is the traditional birthstone for February. Mine is Topaz cuz i was born in November :).

After lunch we went to the seaweed factory. Goodness, i was so hooked to Korean seaweed cuz it's so tasty and crispy! Bought a lot of it n brought back to malaysia n finished just within few days! So sesape nk gi Korea, nk kirim seaweed boleh? Please............

Then we went to Namsangol Hanok Village. This village has 5 restored traditional Korean houses, a pavilion, a pond and a time capsule. Sangat menarik!

Hubby bought Groupon vouchers for a buffet in Cibo Ristorante Italiano Holiday Villa Subang.

I have no idea how much was the groupon voucher (cuz i wasnt the one paying :p) but it was way cheaper than normal price.

I buat muffins je.. sebab i is malas nk bangun pagi untuk masak2.. hihihihi

i baked about 30+ muffins and i brought most of 'em to office, left about 10 muffins at home.
Then Irfan complained.. "mummy, mana cukup muffins ni mummy? nape mummy bawak byk sangat to office?".
I said, "cuz officemate mummy ramai.. ni pn tak cukup agaknye"
n he replied "kat rumah pun ramai jugak. irfan, sarah, bibik, dzarif.. semua makan muffin ni. mana cukup! mummy ni kedekut la..."
aik! gara2 muffin, mummy kene cop as kedekut.. huhu
i guess after this i have to bake more than 50 muffins per baking session. Seriously, they can eat muffins like eating rice! :p

i admit, ever since my new bibik arrived and after long 2 weeks of training her how to cook, i hardly cook. I only cook during weekends and provided on that lucky weekend, nobody ask me out for a date ;). Cemane nk masak bile ade 'org' ajak kuar kan.. hihi (alasan!).

btw, i totally agree with my husband.. my maid's cooking sucks nowadays. her curry tasted funny, her ikan sambal seemed tasteless.. the only thing she does better than me is, masak nasi lemak! hehe.. seb baik.. cuz my kids lurveeee nasi lemak!

n so, for the past few days, i've been cooking!

Sunday tak masak cuz my hubby went for jungle trekking while i was at the spa for almost 5 long hours! siap dengkur2 tido! haha! n when hubby returned home from jungle trekking, he asked me out n we tapawd KFC for the kids n us.

Monday, masak asam pedas ikan pari.. ni mmg hubby's favourite! orang johor will never have enough of asam pedas right?

kuah asam pedas ni punyela sedap (perasan! hihi), siap simpan utk makan lunch with other lauk pauk during lunch ysterday (smlm akak cuti.. x keje.. so makan kat umah je..)

pucuk ubi racik petai + telur dadar + fried chinese cabbage. mkn mcm ni pun boleh tambah nasi smpai 2-3 kali :p

n yesterday, we had these for dinner..

kangkong goreng belacan, ikan bilis besar masak kicap cili padi n telur hotdog dadar.

anything to do with telur, mmg my kids' favourite. tiap2 hari makan telur pun tak jemu. anak korang pun mcm tu ke?

i havent seen my husband makan bertambah2 for quite sometime.. esp after i mogok masak. n last few days, he did! hehehe.. rosak diet org tu :p

Btw, some ppl have been asking me bout rempah rendang that i got from Rembau.. n here it is..

dont ask me whats inside.. i guess it's a combination of few rempah ratus being ground together. just add 4-5 spoons of this to a kg of beef or chicken meat.. n of course with santan, lemongrass, red onions, ginger, garlic n cili padi (refer recipe here).

Transformers Dark of The Moon

Tak tahu nape.. evrytime tengok Transformers, i mesti tertido.. hahaha! But not throughout the moviela.. Maybe i cannot tahan too many shootings, bombings & fighting. All the lighting made my eyes smaller n smaller.. pastu trs zzzzz :p. But i'm not as bad as Sarah.. tgkla ape2 movie pun, half way jek trs zzzzz smpai habis movie! haha!

Took the kids out for the movie last weekend. We took the couple seat. Comel jek.. daddy duduk ngan mummy.. irfan duduk ngan sarah.. hihi

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley... lawa ke? i think dia so-so jek.. harapkan tinggi, slim n bibir terjuih jek.. Megan Fox lagi lawa n sexy! Hubby cakap si Rosie ni tak lawa sgt.. yela tu... nk jaga hati bini, kan? kan? :p

Korea Day 3

The weather was so beautiful on our 3rd day in Korea. We should have gone to Everland on that day rather than the day before.. takpela.. takde rezeki nk terkinja-kinja jadi budak kecik.. sob sob.

Started our day with breakfast in the hotel. I didnt eat their food.. tak tahu nape kembang tekak.. they served kimchi n taugey for breakfast. yucks! Luckily i've set aside some food wic i brought frm Malaysia in a plastic bag.. gardenia bread, tuna n planta. Packed some maggi mee in cup too, just in case. N still, no coffee being served. Peliklaaa.. thank god i brought my Pearl Cafe. The moment i poured hot water to my 3 in 1 pearl cafe, the rest of my tour'mate' looked at me in envy. hehehehe.. ape taknye.. the pearl cafe has this very strong smell! 1 cafe bau kopi! hahaha! And an indian lady in our group tour came to me n said "smartla u... i shud have brought my 3 in 1 coffee too". hihi. Offered her mine, but she refused to take. Taknak sudah :p.

So, our 1st destination for the day was Kimchi School. I dah pandai buat kimchi u olls.....!! :)

I was so surprised to know that there are actually various benefits of eating kimchi, amongst others as an anti-cancer effects, heavy metal detoxification, increases immunity, helps prevent cardiovascular disease, lowers blood pressure, helps slowing down the aging process and helps to prevent overweight. So apa lagi kawan2.. silalh makan kimchi selalu! hihi.. m starting to imagine the soury and spicy taste now... :p

The cool thing about the Kimchi School is, it provides Korean costumes for us to try them on and of course to camwhore! hihihi. Thank god there was young chinese couple in our group who share the same interest like us.. kihkihkih.. so it made it more easier for us to camwhore!

4 of us were the last ppl to come back to our bus. I bet all the uncles and aunties in our group sure bengang! haha! Cuz kami selalu lambat! That's the minus point of following a tour.. have to be always sharp on time. Dah macam masuk Rat Race dah kitorang nih... :p

Our next destination was the Korean Ginseng factory. We were not allowed to take pictures inside the premise, so no pictures except this one..

The most popular ginseng is actually the Korean Red Ginseng, and of course the price comes with the glam. I dont have to explain the benefits of ginseng here cuz i bet u all knw. The price of the ginseng is pretty expensive.. can cover the price of per pax tour to Gold Coast! haha! 3 of my tourmates bought the ginseng.. made them poorer by few thousands RM!! hehe.. but will make them healthier i suppose :).

Then we were brought to a Korean ginseng chicken soup restaurant. It's pork free. in fact, there was a muslim couple, from Malaysia i guess, and the wife wearing tudung eating there too. I didnt eat.. tak tahu pesal, tak alih2 kembang tekak.. huhuhu.. Adikku jugak sporting.. belasah je makan ape2 pun asalkan bukan babi :p

After lunch, we went to a cosmetic shop. Since the 1st day, my tour guide had been talking about this BB cream which is believed to do miracles to your face. He said thats the reason why korean girls are pretty and have flawless skin.. cuz they r using BB cream (yela tuuuuuu).

I didnt buy any BB creams. I almost bought it but i changed my mind in the end. Takut kalau tak sesuai dengan kulit muka.. furthermore, i dont think i need it as at for now.. cuz skrg pun ramai org cakap i nmpak muda.. hahahaha! tlg jgn muntah darah ye kawan2... kihkihkih. Some puji-pujian i received in korea from my tour guide n tourmates telah buat adik aku naik meluat nk muntah mendengarnye.. (haha! sorryla adikku!)

Then we went to Cheongwadae Sarangchae which is the Korean presidential exhibition center.

It's located right in front of the Korea's White House. Free admission. The center tells us about Korea, culture, Korean history, popular figures in Korea and evrything about Korea lah. It also has this cool Presidential Center.. it's like a meeting room with small flags representing each country on the round table. Coolness. Terasa mcm dalam persidangan PBB.. haha! as if i have been to any persidangan! :p

There are few photo booths where you can take pictures for free and can be sent directly to your email. Suke!!

Then, we went to Gyeongbokgung Palace.

The National Folk Museum of korea is inside the palace's compound. The museum presents over 4000 historical artifacts that were used in the daily lives of ordinary Korean people. My sis n i were pretty tired to tour the whole museum. We were more excited to take pictures outside the museum! haha! Boringla asyik ngadap museum jek..

Then we had a tour around the palace, which i like the most! I love to see ancient palaces all around the world! Gyeongbokgung Palace is the oldest royal palace in Seoul and the grandest. The palace was largely destroyed by fire during the Japanese invasions in 1592-1598. It was rebuilt in 1867 and destroyed again during the Japanese colonial era (1910-1945). Restoration efforts have been going on since Korea gained its independence in 1945. Interesting facts right? No wonder the Koreans hate Japs. I hardly see Japs car on their roads.. nil during my short trip to Korea! and it's kinda difficult to see any Japs restaurant. And they dont use any Japs electrical appliances like Panasonic and the like. They are proud of their own brand.. Samsung n LG. Hyundai n Kia are evrywhere. Even the riches were chauffer driven in Hyundai Sonata. No doubt there are Merc & Beemers, but very less seen on the road as compared to in KL. I'm impress. They really love their country.. unlike some of the Malaysians today.. who are ungrateful n disrespectful for their own interest, to make sure their bisexual emotional temperamental beloved loser leader becomes the ruler of this country.. kiss my big ass bebeh! (haaa.. kan x psl2 akak emo.. :p)

After visiting all the museums n historical place, we were brought to a Spa.

The spa needs us to be naked at the public jacuzzi n sauna. Oh tidakkkkkkk.... akak malu!!! haha! Never been naked in front of anybody before besides my husband n err.. my kids n my mom! Tak sanggupla... i might try if i didnt follow the group tour. Ni tak.. cannot imagine i dh tgk the aunties in my group naked n they've looked at me, pastu we'd b sharing the bus! huhu.. takmola... So we went to eat icecream instead while waiting for the rest berparty bogel dlm spa :p

Then we were brought to a shopping place. Tak ingatla plk nama tempat.. in Korea ni banyak tempat2 shopping ala2 Petaling Street and Uptown with the prices mcm kat shopping complex in Malaysia. And again, i tak bernafsu langsung nk shopping. My sis bought an office dress and a cardigan. As for me, entahla.. nothing fancied my eyes. Maybe i dont quite like the Korean's n Japs' sense of fashion kot. M too simple for such funky fashion. Or maybe i ni dah tak reti berfesyen.. which i guess to yg paling betol kot :p

Tengah2 jalan, tetiba lapar plk... We saw this small shop at one of the small street. It doenst serve pork, so i guess it's ok to eat there. Dia jual mcm ala2 fajitas and quesadilla. I opt for the vegetarian set meal.

Penat gila on the move whole day. And at last.. at 10.30pm, we checked in to Hotel Seoul Leisure. I think this is the bestest hotel in our 3 nights stay in Korea. The toilet is damn huge! ade shower room, jacuzzi tub.. haihhh rugi takde husband.. kalau tak, bley jeng jeng jeng.. hehe.

We took a stroll on the street with Stephanie n hubby before we went to sleep. Bought this funny corn.. n the taste yucks! Rasa mcm makan pulut tawar.. huhu

heartbreaking....

Someone that I knw from PwC (previous organisation i worked with) is dying of lymphoma cancer and leukemia.. he's currently at pass stage 4.. i was told he's now left with only bones and skin.. it saddened me to imagine him in that kind of state.. i was also told that there's no hope for recovery.. :'(

I still remember he was 1 of the most helpful IT guy in PwC. He's very softspoken n very patient too. He's about my age i think. I used to borrow his 2 pin adaptor whenever i was in the office. Whenever i see him, i would say.. "aimi.. can i borrow that thing again....plshhhh.." with my 'seposen' look.. n he would gave his sweetest smile. I bumped into him 2 years back in Hilton KL when PwC organised a course there whilst i was attending an office function. He still looked ok then.. sweet and friendly as ever. He still recognised me then..

He was not married when i was still in PwC.. n just got to knw that he's now married n just got a baby. It breaks my heart to imagine how he suffers.. n of course cant imagine his wife's feelings too in enduring this test from Him.

I hope everything goes well and smooth for him.. only Allah knows best..

Went for a short trip to Korea last week with my sis, 4 days 3 nights. It was such an enjoyable yet tiring tour. Just imagine, we had only 4 days in Korea and 3 nights in 3 different hotels! 3 days in Penang island itself is never enough for me.. what more korea! :p

But it's ok.. i shall be back!! hehehe.. Jeju Island will be next!

My sis bought the package in MATTA fair last year and expiring in this coming September.. n of course we didnt want to waste it.. so we went! :)

We took Air Asia to Korea. Took us 6-7 hours to reach Incheon Airport. We reached at about 9.20pm Korean time.. so nothing much can be done especially in Incheon. Incheon is just a small 'pekan', something like in KLIA Sepang.. no nightlife, very few people there.

It took us 20 minutes to reach our hotel ie Cherbourg Hotel.. it's a 3 star hotel located in Incheon. Although it's only a 3 star hotel, but the interior and facilities were enough to amaze us!

Our dinner on the 1st day.. from Malaysia! hehe.. but the coke was from Korea la...

For a 3 star hotel, it's not bad at all! Complete with hairdryer, lotion, perfume, cologne, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hot & cold water dispenser, TV, refrigerator, queen size bed + single bed and sandals. And also there's balcony! I dont think a 3 star hotel in Malaysia provides all those stuff, especially the hair dryer. And we managed to 'curik' wifi from the balcony.. hehehe.. so we managed to go online :). And the 1st thing i did upon checked-in was to express my milk! hahaha! M a breastfeeding mom, remember? I was so engorged! Rasa nak meletop dah! :p. Luckily the freezer was very ok. The ice pack was hardened by the next morning :). We dozed off at about 2am-ish. So there u go our 1st day..

2nd day, had to wake up at 6.30am in the morning cuz we have to be at the lobby for breakfast at 8am. I had to be up early cuz i needed to pump n also packing for check-out from the hotel. Slept for only bout 4 hours, so harusla pening lalat!

But, i still managed to smile! :)

The breakfast was so-so.. i only ate the scramble egg n toasted bread with butter. No coffee being served, only fresh orange juice. Thank god i brought my Pearl Cafe sachet! hehehe..

Didnt get to play any games besides the indoor 3D show and an indoor stage show... sedih.. sob sob..

Seb baik we''ve been to other themeparks at other places before, Universal Studio Hollywood, Disneyland USA, Alton Towers UK n etc.. so takdela kempunan sangat.. n luckily dah tua... hehe..

After Everland, we had our dinner at a Korean BBQ Restaurant. We were served with pork free food. Okla... if u ask me, i prefer the korean bbq in Malaysia. More tasty! But lapar punye pasal, belasahjela... Kimchi is a must in all meals. I had my 1st Kimchi all my life on that night. Not bad. Masam2, pedas2. No photos of that restaurant cuz we were too busy BBQing.. :p

Then we went to Dongdaemon Shopping Town. The Shopping Town has 5 buildings in total with over 5000 shops selling various clothes and accessories and we were told that the clothing there are the latest fashion trends in the world! Mmg boleh gila if u are filthy rich! Sadly, we are not! Just imagine, a normal skirt (x branded.. mcm standard petaling street) costs KRW30,000 and that is about RM80-RM90.. i could get an MNG or Zara during sales! So, i didnt shop. It's too pricey and unreasonable. Furthermore, korean won is stronger than ringgit. So, cuci matajela.......

At Dongdaemon

We checked-in to our 2nd hotel on that night.. 1 hour drive from Dongdaemon.. It's The Show Hotel located in Seoul.

Nice hotel, bigger than the 1 we've stayed in Incheon. And has lotsa TV channels! It has porn channel too!! hahaha! Oopsss! :p

Got 2 free tickets to watch Magical Musical at Sunway Amphitheatre. Thanks Awie! So, last Friday night we went to watch it!

Tips for parking: Please park near the Sunway Hotel cuz the Amphitheatre is right next to the hotel. We were 'clever' enough to park in Sunway Pyramid (top floor pulak tu!) and had to walk all the way to the Amphitheatre! Fuhhh!! It was darn far okeh! Berpeluh2 dibuatnye!

We were supposedly sit at the Yellow Zone (which is the cheapest zone). but were upgraded to VIP seats! Cuz there were plenty of empty seats! Yeay!! So puas hatila tengok!

The show was awesome! Overall, we really enjoyed it! Best!

Saturday morning, my son and i joined the 1 Sukan 1 Murid 1 Malaysia run. Sarah & daddy didnt join. They were still snoring when we were out frm d house :p. When we reached school, i bumped into my uncle and my hubby's friend and they were curious to see i was alone without d other half. haha! i told them, "bapaknye tgh dengkur!" lol

Oh, talking bout my uncle, i just knew that he already retired.. i forgot that he's my dad's age.. or err.. 1 year older? or 1 year younger? Not too sure. But the point here is, he's already retire. N his son is now in standard 3. Can u imagine? Retired n has a son in primary school? Cant imagine myself in his shoe.. He's lucky cuz my aunty is 9-10 years younger than him, so there's still income. N i guess he has plentiful of EPF.. that's a major plus point! :). But.... gunung kalau terus ditarah, akan habis juga kan..

I always tell my hubby that i want my last baby at the age of 35 (actually i prefer dzarif to be my last baby :p), so that he/she will be 20 by the time i retire. If he/she enters uni, he/she will have another year or 2 to go after I retire.. so i guess, it'll still be manageable. By then, Irfan, Sarah & Dzarif might have work. Tapi apa-apapun, kita hanya merancang.. tapi Tuhan yg menentukan.... :)

And on Sunday itself, i made chicken rendang and buttercake.. my kids' favorite! Kejap je semua dah habis licin! :). 1 pinggan bagi jiran depan rumah.. cake takleh bagi.. my kids tak bagi! haha

Remember i've mentioned bout wanting to update on another dining place that i just found out in JB? Refer here.

So here it goes :)

When we were in JB during the school holiday, hubby decided to give both our parents a dinner treat in conjunction with the belated mother's day and becoming father's day.. hehe.. it's like killing 2 birds with 1 stone ;). So, puasla mencari tempat yg sesuai untuk makan.

Some suggested Senibong, but i went there once, and it was quite disappointing cuz probably there were too many ppl when i went. So the service was super duper slow. Plus, there were too many restaurants there, tak tahu nk pilih yg mana.

We wanted to go to Yeos in Gelang Patah, but i guess it's quite far. Malas nk drive jauh2.

Seafood at Kg Pasir Putih is always one of the bestest choice, but nahhh.. boring d.

Pastu, we thought of Remaja Seafood, one of the otai seafood reastaurant in JB located in Bandar Baru Uda (BBU). Eh, betolke BBU? dah berkurun tak pegi..

Then tetiba we found out bout Remaja Classic. Bila google, nampak cam best, so decided to give it a try. It's located near BBU too.. near to LHDN JB.

Bestla jugak tempat tu... we like!

Comfortable to accommodate all of us.. and most importantly, it's air-conditioned! hehe.

Kitorang ni mostly size xxl.. so cepatla rasa panas.. so kenela cari tempat beraircond kan? hihi..

Upon entering the restaurant, there were 2 gazebos at the compound.

Boleh gak makan kat situ but it couldnt fit us all n kat situ xde aircond.. so makan la kat dalam.

Budak2 je la yg super excited lompat sane lompat sini at the gazebos :)

futsal 2011

The last time i played futsal was in.... 2008? 2009? cant remember.. 2008 i think. Cuz, 2009 was a wedding n a preggy year for me, 2010 was a gave birth year.. so betolla kot 2008! Fuhhhhh... it has been a while!

Towards the end of year 2010, i was supposed to play netball for my company, but i didnt. The excuse given was, i fully breastfeed my baby and i needed to be home early and couldnt make time for the training n etc. But the truth was, i was too lazy to drag my lazy bum to the field for training! haha! Well, it was true that i fully breastfeed my baby, but i had plenty of stocks then in the refrigerator :p.

So, come to this year.. no more excuse! hihihi.. so i played futsal! After all the pujuk rayu by y colleagues! :p

Ya Allah... gila pancit on my 1st day of training! Rasa nak mati! hahaha! i was almost breathless in less than 5 minutes of running! gile kan? xde stamina langsung! I only had 2 training sessions before the game that was scheduled on last Saturday. Sebab, training di hari2 yg lain, i kept on forgetting my sport shoes, t-shirt n tights to work! my bad....

So, gara2 kurang training, maka, kami adalah kalah! hahaha! And furthermore, our opponents are mostly in their early 20s, main bola gila mcm pro, n they look very fit! As for us, most of us are at our 30s, dah beranak pinak n main futsal setahun sekali! hahahaha! cemane la kami nk lawan kan.... hihihi.. But tak kisahla... it was not a league, just a friendly match between my company n company xxx. N we had loads of fun!

My hubby joined the guys' futsal match. He played for my company. Sekarang, mmg my hubby selalu jadi pemain import for my company.. be it for football or for futsal. hihi. And the guys' team scored 2 goals! And my hubby scored 1 of it! Punyela i suke sampai melompat2 n terjerit2 macam hape! kakakakakaka! My sayang scored a goal!!! *Bini sapela ni...* ;p

Seronok pulak rasanye bile bersukan. Lepas ni nk rajin2 bersukan lah.. best! (ya rite!)

Dah ganti puasa?

I have been fasting for the past 2 days. But m not fasting today.. cuz overslept! Didnt woke up for sahur! huhuhu.. having to breastfeed n expressing milk in the office without sahur is totally a no-no for me.. boleh pengsan! rasa dehydrated sangat2! Do you breastfeeding mothers out there feel the same?

My 1st day of fasting was really a nightmare! I felt like a small kid learning to fast. Tak larat sangat2... Melepek je depan PC.. no energy at all! Probably i only had a banana for sahur. But do u knw what motivated me to continue fasting? It was a remark from my other half last 2 nights.. n i shall keep the remark as a secret.. hehe.. but it was a good challenge tho :p.

The good thing about fasting is, your hubby will be extra concern on what you want to eat for break fast. hehe.. syiok kan? I was in a meeting when my hubby smsd me nak makan apa for buka. But i was too lethargic and energy-less to think n i dont feel like eating out, so i requested for somthing from pasar malam nearby. Baikkan bini ni? hihihi... All i want was tau fu fa, soy milk and keropok lekor :p

2nd day of fasting was a whole lot better. Maybe I ate these for sahur (which was obviously more than the day before)..

wholemeal breads with kaya and butter, a banana and keropok lekor + 1 litre water. hehehe.. bukan sbb nk diet makan roti jek for sahur.. but mainly because i was too lazy to walk down the stairs to the kitchen at 4.30am in the morning to eat rice n lauk pauk :p. Kalau makan mcm ni senang, letak dlm bekas siap2 n letak dlm bilik. heeeee ;)

Tapi... dalam tak penat berpuasa, still jugak tekak tu nak macam2 for buka. N I requested Subway from hubby. hihi. I also craved for cakes.. i wanted red velvet cake! tot of baking it myself, tapi malas pulak.. cuz nk bake RVC adalah leceh.. so i baked this instead..

Oreo Cheese Cake!! hehehe.. sempat lagi tu..! Sampai jek rumah, terus "bertukang" kat dapur! Bibik pun pelik, cuz the day before, i siap terbaring depan tv tak larat.. tetiba semalam kemain energetic lagi! hihi

Hubby called to say that he'd probably arrived late cuz he had loads to do in office. Tak kisahle.. so i buka with rice dulu.. N while waiting for the cake, tetiba irfan menggedik ajak amek gambar! hahaha! Siap cakap, "mummy, jom amik gambar ngan irfan".. haha! tetiba jek!

The World Justice Project, an international non-governmental organisation, released the report entitled "Rule of Law Index" which (as its name implies) measures a country's adherence to the rule of law. In other words, it attempts to quantify the extent to which a country's justice system is clear, stable, fair, ethical, effective, and accountable.

The report is less flattering to Malaysia when it comes to the issue of protecting/upholding fundamental rights. Malaysia sits at a dismal 18th place among the 19 upper-middle income countries ranked, and 59th globally (out of 66 countries).

However, the report did evaluate the Malaysian government as "relatively accountable" in comparison to "other upper-middle income countries."

Corruption has always been a hotly debated topic in Malaysia. But surprisingly, on the "Absence of Corruption" measure, Malaysia does comparatively well. In the upper-middle income group of countries, it comes in 3rd (out of 19). Globally, it is ranked 25th out of 66 nations.

Nothing's wrong with the company.
It's just that, there will be a point in people's life that they have to move on for the better.. better pay, better perks, better post n etc.
It doesnt mean that i dont want to move on, maybe not now.. perhaps later.. 2, 3, 4, 5 years down the road.. maybe! or maybe never! work til retirement age! :p
Well, how can i leave a job that allows me to tag out at 5.30pm sharp everyday? Plus an awesome boss? And awesome teammates?

Mr. H said this to me last night.. "takpela sayang.. u stay je la sana... let me work hard for the family.. u keje rilek2 je... dont get too carried away with people tendering and resigning"

Eh, i thought he would say "sayang.. u pun benti je la.. dok umah n take care of d kids n our home".

Being a SAHM has always been my ambition eversince Irfan was born.
But come to think of it, i dont think i can ever live by just depending on hubby's money.. even if he's being paid tens of thousand a month.
Sometimes, it's nice to have your own money and spend as you please without seeking his permission. No?
Well, at least, that is what i feel now.
Cannot imagine myself buat muka seposen everytime i want to "jack" him for money to buy makeup, clothes n other women stuffs. M sure he will go bonkers! i mean, if i do that in daily basis! haha! Oh, my husband is very lucky.. i dont bother him at all to buy me even the basic woman's stuff ie sanitary pads, facial cleanser, shampoo, panties, bras, clothes, lipstick, perfume, powder, deodorant n etc. I guess most husbands of working wives are lucky nowadays, dont they? ;)
But i've seen some SAHM were given supplementary credit cards to do 'marketing', shopping, spa, saloons.
Bestkan kalau gitu?
Lets dreammmmmmm... (everything started with a dream.. so dream BIG!)

Dont know whether it's something to be proud of or to be ashamed of..
Nevertheless, i feel them and them...
And, tak sangka rakyat Malaysia ni sebenarnya bijak pandai otak geliga.

too tight up today with lotsa work to do!
baru ingat nk jadi blogger tegar yg rajin update blog :p.
in fact, i have plenty of outdated stories to blog about.. last year end school holiday (haha! gila berjanggut lama!), continuation of my bali trip (dah basi dah ni.. tapi nk share gak! :p), some makan2 places, and also my coming short trip.
Tapi nantilah, whenever i have the time.
K la, dah nak balik dah ni.. just received a phone call from home.. my daughter refuses to take her shower n refuses to wake up (she just had her afternoon nap).. and in few minutes time, the ustaz will come to teach her mengaji..
sigh.. she's such a difficult girl.. keras hati kepala batu yarabbi.. unlike my eldest son yang sangat kememeh.. 2nd child syndrome i guess..
k la, better pack now to 'berperang' with d lil girl! :p
